Duke is Desperately in Need of Your Help!

Starved, abused and then abandoned, Duke has been to hell, and somehow made it through! He was recently rescued from Miami Dade & is undergoing treatment as i write this. His problems are numerous but treatable if the money can be raised, otherwise his future is uncertain.

If the money is raised and his health permits then he will be transported to an amazing rescue in Washington state, where the search for his forever home will begin. As ever his care was will not be cheap and i am asking for your help. 

About $900 more is needed to ensure his future, and i will start this off with a $100 donation, will you join me? Any amount you can give will make such a huge difference!

Help for the homeless animals in Marlboro County, South Carolina

I was not able to go inside this pen and see if this is a male or female, but I can tell you it IS an animal with a broken heart. This was the saddest looking dog at the shelter. "Baby" is impounded at the Marlboro shelter that is run by the County. The Humane Society of Marlboro County is attempting to intercede on behalf of these forgotten souls by exposing them here on Facebook. Please share their plight.

L’association SOS décharge fait appel à Actuanimaux pour Douglas, un mâle de 6/7 ans typé griffon fauve de bretagne, arrivé dans un village corse,  car devenu inutile par des années de chasse.

Découvert maigre, exténué, boîteux, présentant des plaies cutanées anciennes, type escares aux articulations, Douglas a été pris en charge par notre association et conduit chez le vétérinaire.

Bilan : tests leishmaniose et dirofilariose négatifs. Les tests cutanés n’ont rien signalé mais par précaution il a été traité contre la gale et mis sous antibiotiques.

Le vétérinaire pense que ses plaies sont dues à ces années passées en chenil couché sur du béton. Avec du repos, sa hanche arthrosée ne devrait plus le faire souffrir.

CODE RED! NYC dog named SHINE living in hell and owner will surrender him but he needs rescue/adopter asap!!!! boxer/bully mix.

per email i received...There is a neglected dog living alone in one of the sidewalk underground areas at a bodega on 111st. He's been heavily chained for years and losing his voice (per neighbors). Looks like an older boxer/bulldog, grey around the face, living on concrete floors, VERY poor conditions. I didn't see food or water. 

Owner of store abuses him & hasn't wanted him for years. Will literally ask if you want the dog. May have socialization issues from being alone down there but did a little tail wagging when my beagle peeked in. 


Shine is a 7 year old male dog who lives in the basement of an underground loading space for a bodega in NYC. He has been living there for 5 years and seems sweet but scared. The neighbors confirmed he's been there for many years and often barks when the weather is terrible. He's losing his voice because the rain had been often and he doesn't have any shelter from the water coming in from the sidewalk closure. 

Shine's owner has made it very clear he doesn't want him. He's been trying to get rid of him for years, to anybody who asks. I spoke with one of the neighbors who personally knows this dog and he said the dog is sweet and wants to interact. My own personal experience of discovering him was he didn't freak out when my beagle peeked into his space, instead he wagged his tail and stopped barking. 

He had no issues with me talking lovey doggie talk and wagged his tail. Can anyone rescue or adopt this sweet boy? He's living in terrible conditions and needs to be saved. We all NEED LOVE...and especially Shine who has never known a soft caress under the chin, a belly rub or a soft bed to lie on.
